Mountain Recycling deliver industry-first
To make vision become a reality, all you need is a driving force.
That force was our commitment to working towards net zero, and this vision was realised on Wednesday night to a 100 strong audience of colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
To mark National Recycling Week 2022 and the official ‘industry-first’ launch of Beauparc’s 100% fully recycled colour branded wheelie bin, guests were invited to gather at the Everyman Cinema in Leeds to showcase a film production illustrating the steps from the projects development to the final product. Also joining the audience was industry guru and editor of Let's Recycle, Steve Eminton.
The project was pioneered by Mountain Recycling Director Abigail Johnson, to address and resolve the conflict she felt about using virgin material to make the businesses recognisable and familiar, orange wheeled bins.
Commenting, Johnson said ‘With this initiative, we’re leading the way with resource recovery and recycling, delivering against the Groups sustainability values and circular economy aspirations.
The technologies we have in place at the processing facilities within the Beauparc group are advanced and multi-layered, which means that we are really pushing the boundaries of recycling capabilities and what we contribute towards the circular economy’.
The initiative not only benefits Mountain Recycling customers but is now being rolled out to other businesses within the Beauparc group.
